Frequently asked questions

Is this a manual or automated audit?
Automated. We use axe-core (the same engine behind Deque's enterprise tools) + Playwright to scan your pages. Automated audits catch the majority of detectable WCAG violations. For full legal compliance, we recommend pairing this with a manual review — our report includes a methodology section explaining exactly what was tested.
How many pages are included in the scan report?
The $99 Scan Report covers up to 50 pages. The $999 Scan + Remediation plan covers up to 250 pages and includes remediation fixes applied by our team. For larger sites (250+ pages), contact us for a custom plan. Our scanner starts at your URL and automatically finds linked pages to audit.
Will this satisfy an ADA Title II audit?
Our report provides documented evidence of your accessibility testing, which is a required element of compliance. It identifies violations with WCAG criterion codes, severity, and remediation steps. Combined with a remediation plan, this satisfies the documentation requirements for most compliance programs.
How long does the scan take?
Most audits complete in 5–10 minutes. You'll receive an email confirmation immediately after payment, then your PDF report within 10 minutes.
Can I scan sites that require a login?
Not yet — our scanner handles publicly accessible pages only. Login-required page scanning is on our roadmap.
What if I need help fixing the issues found?
We're built by Commonwealth Creative, a web accessibility consulting firm. Our $999 Scan + Remediation plan includes fixes applied by our team. For the $99 Scan Report, you're eligible for remediation at $49 per page. Reply to your report email or contact us at support@theauditbase.com to get started.
